History
Studio Magia first entered the public eye in 1991, with the show Magical Girl Pretty Lilly!, about the magical girl Lillypad, also known as simply Lilly, who defended people from an evil alien king. The show lasted from 1991 until 1993, starring Lilly Morrison as the main character, and earning the title of most popular show during its original run. It was set for a rerun a year after its finale, but that was cancelled due to the show now reaching a certain quota.
That show was followed by their second one, in 1995, Lovely Lovely Magical Girl!, about a magical girl named Love. The show followed a similar formula to the studio's first show, but it only lasted 6 months before being cancelled, not filling a "popularity quota".
From then on, the studio began to make more varied shows, with Echoing Sounds! Magical Boy!, their third show, debuting as the first ever "Magical Boy" show. It lasted from 1996 to 1999, being rerun for two years. The show was then followed by many others, such as Zombie Apocalypse vs. Magical Girl ♡ (2001), Bewitched! Magical Girl! (2003), Princess Jewel — Golden Magical Girl (2009), and many more.
Currently, the studio continues pushing magical girl shows, inspiring young children everywhere to do good deeds and help their friends.
